According to The Athletic, Rangers boss Steven Gerrard is on the wish list of Wolverhampton Wanderers.
It’s claimed that they want Bruno Lage to replace Nuno Espirito Santo, who left Molineux at the end of the season.
However, Wolves must now attend a work permit hearing to learn whether Lage is able to manage in England, and they’re looking at potential alternatives.

Two English coaches are on the radar, with ex-Chelsea boss Frank Lampard and current Rangers manager Gerrard wanted.
Gerrard has only been in management for three years, but he has already won a league title with Rangers having excelled this past season.
His Gers side conquered the Scottish Premiership with an unbeaten league campaign, ending Celtic’s dominance in the process.
The 41-year-old is bound to attract Premier League interest off the back of his Rangers exploits, and Wolves seemingly fancy him if they can’t have Lage.

With 112 wins in 170 games as Rangers boss, Gerrard’s win rate stands at almost 66%, which is hugely impressive for his first job.
Would Gerrard leave Rangers for Wolves? That seems unlikely ahead of a Champions League campaign, and you have to feel that Liverpool is the only club Gerrard would be keen to leave Rangers for at this moment.
