Rangers have caught the eye in Europe in recent seasons as Steven Gerrard’s side reached the last 16 of the Europa League in successive campaigns – but the Gers’ title win last season secured a return to the Champions League with Steven Gerrard’s side finding out who they will face in the Third Qualifying Round on Monday.
Rangers will be seeded for the draw in Nyon, meaning they will avoid the likes of Dinamo Zagreb, Slavia Prague and Olympiacos but there remain some challenging ties lying in wait for the Scottish champions.
The likes of Malmo or Ferncvaros would represent a tough draw for the Light Blues but Gerrard’s side should have enough to see off any of their possible opponents.
Rangers will go into the ties without Glen Kamara and Kemar Roofe with both suspended following the fiery Europa League tie with Slavia Prague last season.
