The talkSPORT duo were on their usual 6am morning show and Coisty revealed that he had been with his former teammate McInnes on Sunday to celebrate his big birthday.

He recalled: "I had a great day yesterday, believe it or not.

"I was at Derek McInnes ' 50th birthday party.

"We had an absolutely ball, (Laura) Woodsy, man, some of my old Rangers team-mates were there.

"Wee (Ian) Durranty, Charlie Miller, Craig Moore. - a lot of the boys were there, what a day we had."

O'Hara then butted in shouting "who?" before McCoist and Woods burst into laughter.

We told how Clive Tyldesley and McCoist were named as the UK’s favourite commentary duo at Euro 2020.

The duo were revealed as the UK public’s ideal commentary team in new research revealed by OLBG’s Commentator Rankings, which ranks each pundit, co-commentator, lead commentator and presenters from BBC and ITV (as well as a select few from Sky Sports and BT Sport) based on their online popularity.
