Back in 2007, Liverpool signed Torres from Atletico Madrid for a transfer fee of €38 million.
Gerrard said that Torres was a player that possessed pace, power and finishing ability.
Gerrard added that Torres’ best years as a player came when he was at Liverpool.
Torres scored 81 goals in 142 appearances for the club, which does highlight that he was very good for the Reds. The Spaniard retired from football back in 2019.
