Rangers star Borna Barisic has opened up on his “love” for the Ibrox giants and admits they have “totally won (him) over” as he prepares for this summer’s Euro 2020 finals.

Barisic has become a big favourite with the Rangers support and the Croatian international has hinted that he could extend his stay in Glasgow beyond the end of his existing contract.
The left-back has been linked with a host of clubs over the last two years but is clearly enjoying his time in Scotland.
“That club is unique. When it creeps into your heart it stays there forever. I can just say I love Rangers. Honestly,” Barisic said.

“Offers are normal in football but when I talk about the club and the fans, it is a big wonderful family. They totally won me over.
“I had bad times too, we didn’t win the league for the first two seasons. But now that I see how full their hearts are, that sincere joy and love for the club, it’s fantastic.
“I don’t like to talk about the coach (Steven Gerrard). If I say a lot of nice words then people could say, ‘there he is sucking up to the manager’.
“Many ask me about him, but let others talk about him.”
Rangers’ unsung hero
Barisic has arguably been Rangers’ unsung hero this season with his consistently excellent performances and incredible return of assists.
If Rangers can keep hold of Barisic for the forseeable future, they’ll have one of the best left-backs in Britain.

Despite his disappointing initial first season at Ibrox, Barisic has really turned things around to become one of the most consistent players around, helping Rangers dominate Scottish football over the last 12 months.
