Rangers full-back Nathan Patterson is one of seven players in isolation from the Scotland national team after ex-Gers midfielder John Fleck tested positive for Covid-19.
Grant Hanley, Che Adams, John McGinn, David Marshall, Nathan Patterson and Stephen O’Donnell have all been identified as close contacts of the Sheffield United star.

This means they will now enter a period of self-isolation and Rangers supporters everywhere will be hoping 19-year-old Patterson will come through the situation unscathed.
All seven players have been ruled out of this evening’s international with Holland as the national team continues its preparations for Euro 2020.
The tournament is set to kick off in nine days’ time (11th June) with Scotland facing the Czech Republic in their opening match on Monday 14th June.
The Scotland national team also has a friendly with Luxembourg on Sunday (6th June) as they prepare to make their first major finals in over 22 years.
The requirement to isolate also comes after two of Scotland’s Group D competitors Croatia and the Czech Republic reversed decisions to be based in the country for the tournament.
Both sides are set to remain in their own countries for the duration of the tournament, cancelling plans to train out of Scotland due to the strictness of the Covid-19 rules in the country.
The situation largely involves the strict mandatory self-isolation orders which could be handed down if any member of their teams test positive for the virus [Guardian].

This is something which we’re clearly seeing play out for Scotland, much to the detriment of the national team whose preparations have been severely interrupted by the unique and controversial regulations.
Here’s more on John Fleck testing positive for the coronavirus earlier in the week.
