This means the Ibrox club face a trip to either Armenia or Kazakhstan to reach the group stages of that competition with Alashkert hosting Kairat Almaty in QR3 of the competition this week.
The two sides played out a 0-0 draw in the first leg in Kazakhstan.
The first leg of this clash will be played on Thursday 19th of August at Ibrox with the Gers originally scheduled to face Ross County on Saturday the 21st.
However, the SPFL have confirmed that the date of this fixture has now been moved to Sunday the 22nd of August at 3pm.
