Rangers fans buckled as unique Castore kit doubles as Graeme Murty tribute

Rangers fans have been paying tribute to Graeme Murty via a defected Castore jersey as one supporter saw the sponsors of the club’s new 3rd shirt turned upside down.

Manufacturing defects occur in the production of clothing but are supposed to be interjected by quality control processes.

However, one appears to have slipped through the net as the club’s Unibet sponsor on the Gers’ new purple kit is stamped on the front of the jersey upside down.

Rangers fans have been having some fun with the jersey on Twitter with retailers Castore sure to be red-faced and purple-cheeked about the cock-up.

Fans have been jokingly claiming the Castore kit belongs to Graeme Murty – who remains a leading figure in the Rangers Academy – as they recall the two-time interim boss’ famous headstand in a defeat to Dundee in February 2017.
