The shocking moment a Rangers fan was bottled from behind by another supporter after Sunday's Old Firm game was captured on CCTV.
The horrifying attack is believed to have occurred at around 2.29pm on Sunday, August 29, shortly after the conclusion of the game between Rangers and Celtic, which the Ibrox men won 1-0.
Believed to have been filmed in Glasgow, the ten-second-long clip was caught on CCTV and shows the man approaching the other from behind, the Daily Record reports.
When he catches up to the victim and his friend, the pair turn round before the thug smashes what appears to be a bottle into his face.
The victim is forced out of shot by the power of the attack and the perpetrator walks away just before the clip ends.
It is unclear the extent of the injuries suffered by the victim after the attack.
The video has been viewed more than 80,000 times since it was first uploaded onto Twitter, with viewers describing it as 'sick', 'horrifying' and 'disgusting'.
The violence comes after Police Scotland warned on Monday "arrests were expected" after footage emerged appearing to show Rangers supporters singing a sectarian song before Sunday's Old Firm game.

The Ibrox club released a statement on Monday night condemning all forms of bigotry.
A club spokesman said: "Following an incident on Sunday, we repeat that Rangers FC condemns all forms of racism, sectarianism and discrimination.
"We are working with the police to identify any season tickets holders."
Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou’s first Old Firm fixture ended in defeat after Filip Helander’s second-half goal gave Rangers a 1-0 win at Ibrox.
The cinch Premiership champions, again with boss Steven Gerrard and several players missing through coronavirus issues, had a let-off in the first half when Hoops striker Odsonne Edouard missed a sitter before Gers attacker Ryan Kent hit the woodwork.
Rangers stepped it up after the break, however, and in a match played with no away supporters in the stadium, Light Blues centre-back Helander headed in from Borna Barisic’s 66th-minute corner to settle the game.
Gerrard’s men sit third in the table as a result, a point ahead of Aberdeen after they left it late to come from behind and secure a 1-1 home draw with Ross County.
