Kemar Roofe set the Europa League alight with a goal from 55 yards.
But the Rangers striker insists it’s his double against Celtic which helped close out title 55 in invincible fashion that will live longest in the memory of Gers fans.
Roofe is adamant nothing in his career can compare to helping secure a first top flight championship in a decade for the club.
And of his 18 strikes in his debut season in Govan two in particular stand out for the former Leeds and Anderlecht star - his brace in the 4-1 thumping of the Hoops at Ibrox.
They remain a playing highlight - although the day the title was all but secured against St Mirren is the ultimate memory of his campaign.
Roofe said: “One thing I found out from playing in Scotland and for Rangers is that those goals against Celtic are the ones that everyone will remember.
“It’s such a massive rivalry, so for me to score two in that game was a really proud moment.
“I was watching the St Mirren game (when the title was all but clinched) from the stands and I know now how the fans feel watching games.
“The iconic moment was when all the boys ran to the corner to celebrate with the fans at the gates.
“This is definitely up there for me in my career, nothing can compare to it.”
Roofe says there was no getting away from the number 55 on a daily basis after signing four days after the campaign had began last August.
He told the Rangers official souvenir magazined: “I learned right away how important this season was for the club. Every day somebody was telling me about 55, and it got to the point where it stuck and I was telling people about 55!
“It is something that you had to embrace and run with.”
Two months after signing Roofe was setting Europe alight after climbing off the bench to score with an incredible lob from the half way line against Standard Liege.
The goal was officially measured at 54.5 yards.
And for a player who had only recently left Belgian rivals Anderlecht it was a sweet moment.
Roofe aid: “I wasn’t expecting to score at all in that game, I just wanted to help the team get over the line.
“There were some good emotions because every time I touched the ball after I went on I was getting booed by their fans.
"So that gave me extra fuel to do something.
“Scoring a tap-in would have been nice but obviously scoring that goal against those fans and to silence them - it was a good feeling.”
